As I sit down to write this, I can't help but feel a whirlwind of emotions. Launching "Gather, Give, GLOW" is a dream that's finally come to fruition, a dream that's deeply personal and reflective of who I am at my core. This event isn't just an initiative by GLOW; it's a reflection of my essence, my beliefs, and my journey in the world of wellness and entrepreneurship.

Collaboration at the Heart

From the early days of moving from Chicago to LA, chasing my dreams of dance and later stepping into the fitness industry, the path has been nothing short of exhilarating. Yet, it's been a journey often walked alone. Transitioning into entrepreneurship with GLOW was a leap of faith—a solo venture into creating something that could embody my philosophy on wellness, community, and support. But in my heart, I've always been a collaborator.
The opportunity to highlight and work alongside other leaders in the fitness and wellness space is something I've long envisioned. There's a certain magic that happens when like-minded individuals come together, each bringing their unique energy, knowledge, and passion to the table. "Gather, Give, GLOW" is the embodiment of this belief—the culmination of years of dreaming, planning, and hard work. It represents a pivot from walking the path alone to marching forward with a community of incredible individuals.

Making an Impact

Beyond the joy of collaboration, this event holds a deeper significance for me. It's an avenue to make a tangible impact on the world, to drive donations, and to support those in dire need. The decision to donate all proceeds to the Children's Heart Foundation is a testament to GLOW's commitment to not just talk the talk but walk the walk when it comes to making a difference.
Philanthropy has always been close to my heart. The ability to leverage the platform I've built with GLOW to support meaningful causes is something I don't take lightly. There's an overwhelming sense of gratitude that comes with being in a position to give back, to lift others up, and to contribute to a world striving for more light and kindness.

Build to Breakthrough is a Functional Hypertrophy training program designed to increase muscle size (hypertrophy) while prioritizing functional movement patterns. This program places a spotlight on the glutes, with Hip Thrusts taking center stage on every Strength Day. Let's dive deeper into its unique features!

This 4-week program consists of four workouts each week, each lasting less than an hour. For me, the essence of a workout lies in its ability to be enjoyable while bringing you on a journey from start to finish. In our Full Body Strength days within Build to Breakthrough, we progress through three distinct blocks, each offering its unique flavor. The initial block focuses on inducing fatigue with the Hip Thrusts. In the second block, we intensify our reps and minimize rest time, dynamically switching between opposite muscle groups (a personal favorite). Finally, a Body by GLOW workout wouldn't be complete without a Burn Block, where we reach our highest rep count of the day, targeting smaller muscles that complement the work done in the initial blocks.

From Fear to Freedom: A Wellness Blueprint for 2024

2023 was a year like no other.

I fully committed to betting on myself and took the year to build my own company. The first 6 months were a whirlwind of testing, trying, birthing ideas, and creation—the final sprint of the ideation phase. The last 6 months were WORK. I learned so much about business, branding, tech, you name it... and most importantly, I learned owning your own business is no light feat. I am proud of committing to the journey and expanding my being through the experience.

What I accomplished in 2023 fascinates me, and I am proud of committing to the journey and expanding my being through the experience.

5 things I am leaving behind in 2023:

1. Fear

The number one thing that cripples us from expansion.

2. Doubt

Stemming from fear, doubt comes from our ego. It serves no purpose.

3. Expectation

Triggering fear and doubt, expectations are best left behind.

4. Pressure

Inducing anxiety and stress, pressure takes the joy out of it.

5. Comparison

Everyone has a unique path and story. Comparing often paralyzes authentic progression.

In 2024, I am committing to strengthening my relationship with self.

HOW am I leaving these behind?

In a moment of rising emotions, ask yourself: “Are these my emotions, or are they from someone/something around me?” Identifying the true root of emotions is key; often, these emotions don’t stem from self but are picked up from our surroundings.
Prioritize healthy social environments. In 2024, take action. Eliminate unhealthy influences from your life. Not limited to: coworkers, friends, social media accounts, you name it. Learn to create healthy limitations, protect your peace, and prioritize YOU.
Stimulate your intellectual well-being. Pick up a new hobby, read a new book, learn about something you always wanted to. As you clear out your space in 2024, recognize that decluttering creates more time for self, and what you do with that time matters!
Movement is key to success. As you eliminate pressure, look at movement and fitness through a new lens—one that is healthy, supportive, and offers longevity. Say goodbye to burnout and welcome sustainability in the new year.
In 2024, I plan to prioritize JOY & WELLNESS. Life is moving fast, and change is rapid. Nothing is guaranteed, so why the rush, anxiety, pressure, and stress? I urge you to shift the narrative and step back into the driver's seat of your own life. We all deserve abundant wellness. This, my friend, is up to us. Take responsibility for your actions, your lack of actions, your joy, peace, financial situations and beyond. Step into being the ultimate creator of your reality and say goodbye to being a victim in 2024.
